Hello peoples
I wanted to know if you needed the open beta patch in order to play Aion when it comes out on the 23rd. I have already downloaded the patches but I just wanted to know if the software which comes with Aion is already updated to the version atm.

Hi Akira, the game will launch with patch 1.5 and the open beta will be 1.5 as well. So I think there will be some minor adjustment/upgrade patches once the game goes live on the 22nd but it shouldn't be big files you'll have to download.
