Let me start of with a very simple one. This one is used if you are in a group and you're doing some leveling or more importantly, some pvping.

What this macro does is select the target of the person you specified in the target, and after selecting the person, it will select that person's target.

Here it is:

/select Name (Where Name is the name of the person that's doing the targetting)
/delay 0.5 (Just to be sure the macro doesn't skip a part)
/skill assist target (Selects the target callers target)

There you go. Usefull for pve and pvp.

Are you using any macros? If so, please do share.

Another very neat macro that does the same job is this one:

Code:

/Select [%Group1]
/quickbar 1 0 1

For this to work you have to have a specific hotbar setup.

On Hotbar (1) you got to have the Macro shortcut.
On Hotbar (0) you've got to place the "Assist target" icon on the first slot, which is slot (1), which you can pick from the Actions list when you press K.

Once you've set it up. Every time you press the newly made macro, it will target the group leaders target.

Apparently there is a even simpeler way to do this macro. This is how you do it.

Like before your first step would be the same, so your first step is:

Code:

/Select [%Group1]

The second "command" in your macro is even easier than before. All you have to do is press K and from that window drag the "Skill Assist Target" in the macro window. This will automaticcaly add another line in your macro and the result would be:

Code:

/Select [%Group1]
/Skill Assist Target

I'm sure there are people around that would like to such a macro.

And yes, you're English is good enough. As long as we understand what you mean, there shouldn't be a problem

the betas ended now so i cant show you screenshots =( but the macro sytem uses a click and drag ability enabling you to setup entire spell chains. this leads to very boring play but can be quite useful in other situations so ill explain anyway.

i started my macro

/attack
/delay 4 -------- this is to alow time to get to the mob
/starter spell 1
/delay 1
/spell two
/delay 1
/spell three
/delay 6 -------- this was to alow time for spell to come of cooldown
/spell two

obviously this can be customized for classes depending on your spell rotation.
some spells will for some reason stop auto attacking if this happens find out where the kink in the macro is and use /attack to keep your toon fighting.

one last thing realy sorry for my poor spelling.

hope this kelps

I usually don't use macros, but when you're doing a long and boring grind, I can see a macro being useful. I'll see what I can do with the one you just wrote down zak.

Does anyone know if there is a macro to switch between titles? I'd love to switch between my active title and Bottled Lightning for the speed boost, although it's small, it makes a difference.

That's a good question actually. More than often do I change the title just to get the speed boost. Going to have a look around and see if this is possible. If I find anything, I'll report back.
