This will be a short post about some of the PvP we did in the Pitchfork Ville (Eltnen). This is a great place for PvP. When we were getting closer to our usual spot, we found out there was a crapload of other Asmodians around, ganking poor Elyos. So we joined them to fight at our usual spot.The result? A massive fight for a couple minutes, and the usual running back when there are just TOO many Elyos to fight. Though, I still think we should have stood there and died like brave (read foolish) warriors!The second bit of the video is about the Fire Temple quest boss called Sacred Chalice Protector Denlavis. If you've seen the video about the other boss in the Fire Temple, you will notice quickly that Sacred Chalice Protector Denlavis actually hits like a wet fish. Even the normal monsters around it hit harder than he does.

Sacred Chalice Protector Denlavis is a part of the Fire Temple quest and after you beat him down, you have to loot the body.

That's about it for this video, it's just a filler one till the game releases on September 22nd. I hope you enjoy it.

If you haven't watched the video yet, click the image below

{rokbox title=|Hyenas In Aion & Fire Temple Quest Boss| thumb=|images/homepage/hyenas-fire-temple.jpg| size=|854 505|}http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-K-MY7ZQCw&hd=1&autoplay=1{/rokbox}
 Video #21. So don't be too harsh on me. If this is not what you want to see, please leave a comment below and tell me what it is you do want to see. Anyway, the footage for this video was taken from about 10 hours of Fraps footage. It was a bit hard to squeeze it in 10 minutes, but I think I did an okay job. The editing with the voice, the footage and the music was annoying, so you better like it! Most of this footage is from the Pitchfork Ville and boy, do I love Pitchfork Ville!

If you watch the video, you might think that there is a ton of PvP going on in the Elyos area (Eltnen) but, that's not really the case. Apart from Pitchfork Ville, there was barely anyone to kill. We had the occasional group that was wondering around but I was hoping for more really. Apart from the noob ganking near their towns I was kind of disappointed.

Not going to write a lot about this PvP video. Just watch it and if you don't like it, do tell in a comment! (Click the image below to see the video)

{rokbox title=|Aion PvP - Elyos Getting Their Wings Kicked| thumb=|images/homepage/pvp-elyos.jpg| size=|854 505|}http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkTDb13DgUU&hd=1&autoplay=1{/rokbox}
Video #18 and it's the first PvP video I made. Somewhere in closed beta 5 I managed to hit level 30, which left me to do with 1 thing. PvP! Having a few days in which all I did was killing Elyos was satisfying to say the least. But that's not where it ended. Closed beta 6 is even awesomer (is that even a word?). The PvP I've been doing, is partially happening in the Abyss. Flying around in a group of 4-5-6 people, killing anything and everything that comes in our way. Flying from 1 island to another. Even visiting the Upper Abyss to see what's up there. But in a closed beta, where the level limit is 30, not much people go to the upper Abyss. Still, managed to get a few kills here and there. Even though you can have great fun in the Abyss, the Abyss isn't the juicy part during the a closed beta.
{rokbox title=|This is where Pitchfor Ville is| size=|561 350|}images/homepage/pitchfork-ville.jpg{/rokbox}
It's the, what we call, Pitchfork Ville (you read it here first!) Pitchfork Ville is the where all the action happened during closed beta 6. It's located in Eltnen in the Elyos area. I have no clue what level people level in this area, but what I do know is... that there are a LOT of noobs near the Pitchfork Ville.

And the best part about it is that this stream of noobs is never ending. When you kill 1, 2 other noobs replace him. And it's not once that his happened but this happens every time we head to this zone. I don't know what it is about. Just take a look at the 2 screenshots below.

{rokbox title=|This is where Pitchfor Ville is| size=|561 350|}images/homepage/pitchfork-ville1.jpg{/rokbox} {rokbox title=|This is where Pitchfor Ville is| size=|561 350|}images/homepage/pitchfork-ville2.jpg{/rokbox}

Like I said 10 times before. Going to Pitchfork Ville (aka Eltnen noob zone) is freaking awesome! Unless you have done the same, you wouldn't know how freaking fun that is. That is untill you get zerged by a group of Elyos that is at least triple or quadruple the size of your group!

And that Sir is my Aion's 6th closed beta PvP experience. And the screenshots you see above are taking from PvP footage which I will make a movie from in the near future.
Edit: The video from the screenshots you see above is finally uploaded. I'd like to thank everyone that took their time to vote on the poll. The reason for the poll was simple. I wanted to know what kind of videos the audience wanted to see, so I could hit the 'record' button at the right time while I'm playing. But as you can see in the graph the votes are pretty even, meaning I will continue making videos about all 3 aspects of the game. Here are some statistics for you: The poll was started on Wednesday, 15 July 2009 First Vote: Wednesday, 15 July 2009 03:13 Last Vote: Monday, 17 August 2009 07:10 Total amount of votes: 32 People voting for Player versus Player: 12 (38%) People voting for Player versus Environment: 10 (31%) People voting for Raids: 10 (31%)
The first ever Poll for this website, and I must say that more people voted that I'd expected in the first place.
