Aion Raidboss - King Zugog

The first raidboss we did during the 4th closed beta. It's King Zugog and this is 1 fast bugger. Try not to accidentally aggro it because it will not leave you alone. Had to find this out the hard way if you know what I mean. This boss does hit hard and if you're not careful and you've got a louzy tank, you will die within a few hits. That said, let's jump to the juicy stuff. The drops! As far as I know, the boss drops 5 items. The one you see in the video is the sword. Which we've sold for 300.000 so we could upgrade our guild to rank 3 and get ourselves a nice logo. The 5 items that drop of King Zugog are (and is confirmed):

King Zugog's Sword
King Zugog's Carapace (You can see this drop on my next video)
King Zugog's Dagger
King Zugog's Tome
King Zugog's Warhammer

To me it sounds a looks a bit weird that this boss drops only 5 items and not the other weapons. That's why I'd like to ask you if you could record yourself killing King Zugog and getting an item which is not listed above. If you have any footage of you getting that drop, please let me know.

I've been looking for Aion wallpapers for a while now and it took me a while to get my hands on some proper ones. Not just screenshots taken by players, but real wallpapers. Aion Worldboss - Chieftain Kumbaron & Walkthrough

Finally, 1 of the more serious bosses for lower level people, called Chieftain Kumbaron. This boss is capable of killing people quickly, so if you are a squishy class, be careful. That being said, it's worth killing this boss for the loot. Looking at the loot table of this boss, it can drop a variety of items, but it will mainly drop green weapons and helmets. If you are looking for this boss, you can find it on the map below. Just look for the yellow star in Zemurru's Grave. It will take some clearing to get to the boss, but once you're there you can do 2 things.

1. You go head on. You kill all the monsters you come across. This includes the set of two on the left and right off the boss, just to be on the safe side. If you don't do this, you'll have a chance of the monsters aggroing. Don't make the same mistake we did .

2. Or you could do this sneakily and go around the back of the monsters that are stationed to the left of the entrance. Once you've done that, you'll need to pull the boss behind the portal so that everything that comes with the boss will lose aggro. Once the boss is behind the portal, you got to wait till the monsters around it lose aggro, and after that it's just tank and spank. You got to be careful though, because of the small are you're in, you can easily get aoe'd and the boss can easily jump on you since you're so close to it.

As you can see, that's quite some drops you can get off this boss and if you actually watched the video, you'll see that we've gotten 10 of the possible 17 drops. Not too shabby if you ask me. If you haven't seen the video yet, just click on the image below and it'll pop up the video for you.

(Boss) Ruthless Jahama & Drops

The last "boss" which you can kill in the Black Claw Village / Outpost area is the Ruthless Jahama, which is a level 18 monster. If you've watched the other 4 bosses in the Black Claw Village / Outpost area, you'll know that the pauldrons are the only items left. And as you can guess, the Ruthless Jahama drops the pauldrons. In the video you can see 3 pauldron drops, the only on you're not seeing is the leather pauldrons. But rest assured, that one drops as well. The pauldrons and the other item drops from this boss are:

If you are wondering where to find this boss, and I'm pretty sure there are some people that do wonder, this would be a good place to start looking for it. This boss doesn't wonder around and neither does it spawn in different locations. So if you found it once, you'll be able to find it again.

Having killed all the smaller bosses leaves us with 1 more boss to go, and this is the World Boss. Unlike the ones you've seen so far, this one does actually hit pretty hard and is capable of killing people and not just hurting them. Keep an eye out for the next video/blogpost, because that will finally show a real boss.

(Boss) Numurru Quickfist & Drops

The 4th video from the "Bosses" in the Black Claw Elite zone, is from the Numurru Quickfist. This is the boss that drops the level 18 boots, which you can use till you craft your own boots at level 20. This is ofcourse, of you dont have blue boots by the time you try the Numurru Quickfist. The Numurru Quickfist is 1 of the many bosses which require no tactics to kill. It's just tank and spank. But, as always, be carefull of monsters that might j0in the boss while you're fighting it.

Misty Wind Mubaba & Drops

The Misty Wind Mubaba is one of the I think 5 named monsters that wonder around in the Black Claw Elite zone. As you might have noticed so far, each of these monsters drop specific items and if you want to complete a set, you're going to need to kill them all. The trick with this boss is to seperate the additional monsters from the boss itself, and you can easily do that by pulling all the monsters, and jump behind the tree you can see in the video. Once the pulller is behind the tree, the monsters will lose agro and after that you can just pick them off. Also, jumping behind the tree is a save way to get rid of any monsters.

The Misty Wind Mubaba is the one that drops the uppers. In the video you can see these items drop (hover over the name to see the stats):

None of these are really rare, but it's worth having them at level 20 nonetheles. If you have questions or comments, feel free to leave them below.

I would like to welcome you to The Aion Guy's blog and my first blog post. This will be a small introduction of what you can expect on the blog. On the blog you can expect the same thing you watched on the videos. In case you don't know what I'm talking about, head over to the Aion Videos section. But there is more. While you watch the videos, some things might be unclear to you. If you were on YouTube, you could leave a comment and hope I would notice it and give you an answer. If you however ask questions on the blog, you're 100% sure you get a reply from me. Don't you think I got the answer to your questions, then ask your question on the Aion Forums! There is another bonus if you visit the blog after watching a video. In the videos you'll see me slow down the movie so you can see item stats. If you're lazy and can't be bothered to read it on the movie, you can come over to the blog and you'll find the items on the blog in a post with pictures in it. Anyway, I'll keep it short. Enjoy the videos and if you have questions about anything, you can always ask it in a comment or on the forums.
